Our patented technique which creates a seal in the mid-section of the assembly, will have a continuous plane of heavy-duty gasket (which is tailored to our product) which is uniformly pressed by 4 adjustable compression latches. This will improve airtightness, and you will rid yourself of all the energy/heat loss, and costs associated with the issues that arise from the old assemblies.

One person can install with ease. Our product gets fastened from above the bottom chord of the truss or rafter system. The installer may set the assembly on top of two truss members and fasten the unit from above. We can now seal around the rough opening from the second floor with low expanding foam, just like we do our windows.

Our assembly is designed so that when someone wants or needs to access the attic, all one needs to do is release the compression latches, and pull the unit downward and into the conditioned space. No need to push the unit upward and into the attic to gain access.
